looking into the fog you can’t see a thing
but it’s clear to me the end is approaching
they promise peace while their smoke fills our sky
and their armies keep on growing on all sides
we have been trapped in their ice for too long
a rock in a glacier that’s starting to thaw
the cracks split deep as they break open wide
releasing the cold that’s numbed us inside
and while they bomb capital plunders
extract/destroy while we roll under
the waves of an acidic sea
transformed by waste and rising heat
they build rockets to evacuate the elite
left with the ruins of their deceit
buried in debt to avert our eyes
distract/evade with flashing lights
to keep us fighting with our own side
divide/dissect/criminalize
while they wage war unceasingly
under the guise of protecting
a world that they want you to see
but we all know is fantasy
and as the ice melts their words begin to stumble
the water flows leaving empires in rubble
no structures in our way. no more static
we drift in its current. glacial erratic
